So.... *sigh* Dad's gotta go for chemo now. He just went through 2 months of finding out he has cancer in the lung and colon and immediately getting them removed in two shots. It's purely preventative... but nonetheless... shitty. Apparently it's normal for ppl who has had those types of cancer and to be sure it doesn't come back (especially lung cancer). Since all this, he quit smoking ( smoker for 45 years )and quit coffee altogether.

However, he will be sick for 6 months with hair loss.......fuck. For those of you who don't know, my mother died of cancer back in December 2007. So... this is a prolonged bout of extreme suckage.

*sigh* (shifts gears)

Anyhow.... on the brighter side of things... i've decided to try my hand at oil painting and re-learn everything all over again. I've been bitten by the bug so....I feel the need to get my Art-On and do some blendy paintingz.

I really enjoy the theraputic side of painting. I have this urge to cover everything in the brightest colors possible and I have to learn to balance it out more with darks and neutrals. I'm going to start a new digital piece soon, now that I have some vacation time spent @ home for a week.

So... Xbox playing, Chai tea drinking, Nutella eating, Imagine F/X reading, Painting, reflecting and relaxing are about the only things I want to plan to do for the next little while before I go back to work.

Sigh.... here we go on the merry-go-round again.
